Sent to Camp Taylor, Ky.; assigned to 30th Company, 8th Battalion, 159th Depot Brigade. Transferred to Camp Gordon, Ga.: then to Camp McClellan, Ala. Sailed for France June 16, 1918; assigned to Company H, 115th Infantry. Killed in action October 28, 1918, Consenvoye Woods. Buried in Consenvoye Cemetery, Meuse, France.
