| My Father and Mother immigrated from a small village by the Carpathian Mountains, the village was named "Lovo". The nearest town was Stanislaw. The year my Father immigrated was approximately 1914. My mother immigrated January 7, 1921 or 1922. Both went through Ellis Island. My Fathers name was Metro Ewanick and my mothers name was Catherine Kolokoski Ewanick. I am just beginning to research my families history. I am very inexperienced in this area but would appreciate any suggestions and help. |
