  Lionel Arthur Exham, born March 3rd, 1883 in Market Drayton, Shropshire, England came to Canada at Easter, 1907 joining the Northwest Mounted Police in Winnipeg that year. He served for a couple of years until he started with Canada's Postal Service and worked with them until he retired after 36 years of service. He married Bessie Sarah Walker in 1921 and had 3 children, Frederic William Lionel Exham, Margaret Adela Exham and Kenah Exham.
