| WANTED Ancient EXLEYS I am searching for John Exley who married Ann (unknown last name) I visited the village of "Exley" in 1997 and again in 2000. Exley sits on a high hill overlooking West Yorkshire just south "Halifax" The village is not spectacular, however I took some nice photographs of road signs indicating "EXLEY 1/4 Miles" up "Exley Lane" and the entry sign at "Exley Lane Cemetery" When I visited in 2000, I did research in local archives, there is a wealth of names and family history to be found. I will share information if you can help me with John or in fact any other connections. I have solid ground back through the families to myself including a lot of Uncles Aunts and Cousins. John and Ann had four children. John born april 12 1802, Mary born September 24, 1804, Samual (My ancestor) born June 1806, Jude born March 24 1809. |
