Eyheralde Family

" A Basque knows how to make a Ewe turn " All Eyheralde's in the U.S. descended from John Eyheralde of Esterencuby, France, an area refered to as the Basque provence of Basse Navarre . His wife, Margaret Pochelu, who he met and married in the U.S., came from Ostabat, France, in the same area. Recently, we have been contacted by the Eyheralde family of Chile and are trying to determine our exact relationship. There is a small village in the Basque country named Eyheralde, but we have yet to trace a family member back to this location...but I'm sure we will. We believe there may be others with this name in South America, possibly Argentina. If you are there, phone home!
