Family Tree Maker's Genealogy Site: User Home Pages: THE EYTALIS FAMILY

Genealogy...such a small word with so much control. Once you start researching, your life is no longer your own. We have been searching for about 8 years now. Family Tree Maker has been with us all that time. The most rewarding thing is when you see the interest that the young people have about their heritage. I put all of the data and pictures I collect in binders so it was easy to transport the 2200 miles to the reunion. We also printed out the Eytalis Family Tree and took it to a blueprint firm. They enlarged it so we could hang it on the wall at the reunion. It came out really nice. Your tree will never be complete because it continually changes with deaths, weddings and births. We proudly added our third set of twins last year. Our family ties are in Illinois. Our families settled in Chicago and evidently moved to Rockford and Oregon, Illinois. Grandfather Eytalis was a shoemaker in Chicago and an inventor. We are researching the names of: EITUTIS, AITUTIS, COY, ZMUDA, LEDDY, KRASAUSKAS, BOWDEN, KING, HESS, HAYES, REISENBECK, MARTIN, NAPORA, SOBEZAK, ROKOSZ, GAIKWAD Our search takes us to Illinois, Wisconsin, Maryland, Ohio, Indiana, Louisiana, Missouri, Lithuania, Poland and India. We created a family newsletter to help keep the family up to date on our research. The newsletter no longer just includes research items. Family members send us notes about what is happening in their lives plus pictures and we put these in the newsletter. We also include articles about our heritage, recipes, memories, weddings, births, and deaths. It is fun to do and we now mail to 59 families.
