John R. Dickens lived and had stock & piney woods and had a logging business. John, was always flush - seem to have plenty of money. monumental bronze on skin from living so "long in the woods with no ease. and he was a clever & liberal man with features prominent, cheek bones high & nose large and a very fine imitative specimen of a genuine Savage. At the time of his death he held the title of chief of the tribes.
