| I am a newbie at geneology and I am looking at tracing Hartley, Wheeler, and Kirby and Lovelace lines. My married name "Ezyk" is also on the list, but is not my focus right now. I have a great aunt Grace who has done extensive research on the Coon line. (My Grandmother's maiden name). I believe that understanding our ancestors will help give meaning and understanding to our lives. I hope to build my tree(s) such that my children will have a precious record of their family roots that they too can add to and pass on. I believe it is a way to speak to the generations to come. They need to hear our voice, they will need to understand what has come before. |
