The question is do all five of the above share the same Alice McCabe as mother? I think they do.

Is this the Mary McCade(miss spelled) of Northfield that married Thomas Kane Nov 1, 1887? Witness were Bernard Coyle and Catherine Coyle. JJf Jr. Note! It appears that this true. According to a granddaughter of Frederick Van Pfoff, Mary McCabe married Thomas Kane, 2008; JJF Jr.

According to St. Patrick's of Northfield, Burial Book; "1899, Dec. 21st. The Body of Thomas Kain, age 55, was buried."

Note: On 22 Sep 1865, Hugh McCabe is listed as payee for a Barney Coyle, from Liverpool to Detroit, destination Ann Arbor. (Passage to America 1851-1869)
