Notes for Ebenezer Fain: Source: Early Tennesse Settlers, 1700s-1900s..Some Tennessee Heroes of the Revoution, Second Pamphlet, Page 44 states that Ebenezer Fain applied for revolutionary pension while living in GA, but served while living in Washington Co. NC (now TN). Pension records show he inlisted at age 14, June 1776 and served under various Captains until 1781. He fought in the battles of Musgroves Mills, Woffords Iron Works and King's Mountain, where he was wounded in the leg. Ebenezer Fain was one of five brothers who served in the American Revolution, while their father Nicholas Fain also served. The six Fains participated in the battle of King's Mountain, Oct 7, 1780 near the No. and So. Carolinas border.
