Welcome!! John Charles Fair and Alice Lucy McCormick were married in Holmes County Ohio on March 23, 1874. John was the youngest son of Paul Charles Fair and Magdelina Showalter Strome. Alice was the daughter of John McCormick, we think. John and Alice were born and raised around Holmes and Tuscarawas counties in Ohio. Three of their seven children were born in Ohio, then they took their family and moved to the Kansas City Missouri area, Nevada, Missouri to be exact. John Charles died on October 15, 1900 in Moundsville, Missouri, and Alice Lucy died on August 15, 1904. Her estate was processed in Nevada, Missouri, but we have not been able to find where she was burried as yet. After Alice Lucy's death, the younger children moved from Missouri to Oklahoma to live with Adelbert and Cordelia. From there the family spread out. I am including the Outline Decendent Tree for John and Alice. It is as accurate as I have been able to make it. If you are researching this branch of the Fair (Fehr) bunch, please feel free to contact me anytime. I also am researching my paternal ancestors. My ggg-grandfather was John Head, Murray County Georgia. He was married to Anna Shelton, and had a number of children. Charles Whitfield was my gg-grandfather and I know he had a younger brother, Harvey. I am including an outline of the info I have so far. If you are looking for any Head's, we might be related.
