I am researching the MERENDINO family from Sicily, Italy. Girolamo Merendino was my great-grandfather. He married Vincenza Meli in the early 1900's. They had eight children: Giuseppe, Salvatore, Jimmy, Vincenza, Rosaria, Francesca, Felipa and Giuseppa. All of the children migrated to the United States in the mid 1900's. Majority of the offspring, currently live in the New York area. My grandfather was Giuseppe Merendino. He married Giuseppa Rotelli. They had four children: Vincenza, Rosaria, Francesca and Girolama (aka Mimma).
I am also researching the FALLETTA family from Sicily, Italy. Domenico Falletta was my great-grandfather. He married Roaslia La-Mantia in the early 1900's. As far as we know, they had eleven children but I was only able to find the name of six of them: Giuseppe, Santino, Lucciano, Maria, Vincenza and Carmelia. My grandfather was Giuseppe Falletta. He married Concetta Bruno. They had four children: Rosalia, Concetta, Domenico and Gaetana. Three of the four children now live in the United States. Dominick (aka Domenico) migrated to the United States in the late 1960's. Concetta and Gaetana along with their mother migrated to the United States in the 1970's.

In both cases, I am trying to trace back my ancestry as far as possible. Any information, would be appreciated. I am willing to share any and all information I have.
