If you ever wondered what a one-room school really looked like and how many children typically attended, here is your answer. This is the St. Stephen "Academy", Seneca County school in Venice Township in about 1912. The name "Academy" is pretty grand, but it is still just a one-room school. Virtually all of the students were related to the Falters.
