This entry was made 23 December 1833 and identifies our ancestor, Jacob, as the son of the future immigrants to the U.S, Jacob SCHARF and Catharina MUELLER of Gersheim. His godparents were Jacob MUELLER and Magdalena SCHARF of Niedergailbach (a nearby village).
