HOW AM I RELATED TO THE CONDLEYS/COBB/COBBS?

Ambrose Cobb, Sr. (1831-1912), 2nd cousin once removed, was related to President Lincoln, as mentioned in a news article, and his obituary. His ancestors were Pilgrims, coming from England to America in the 1600's

My gr-gr-gr grandfather, Anderson Condley, (1792-1838) married Catherine Cobbs (1794-1838). dtr of Robert Cobbs, Sr. and Catherine, in Halifax Co., VA. Wedding Date was Nov 22, 1813. Note ** Robert Cobbs, Sr. served during the American Revolution

Anderson Condley's sister, Frances Condley (1793-1815) married John Cobb(s), (1779-?) brother of Catherine Cobb (above, who married Anderson Condley). Frances Condley and John Cobb married Nov 30, 1813 in Halifax Co., Virginia.

Anderson and Catherine Condley's son, Meredith, was born on the way from Halifax, VA to Giles Co. TN. He married Nancy J. Cobb, dtr of Robert L. Cobb and Anne C. Cobb

My great grandfather, Robert Wm Condley, son of Anderson, (1824-1910), married his cousin, Susan Jane Warren, (1827-1887) in Giles Co., TN. Susan Jane Warren's mother was Sarah Mary Cobb, dtr of Ambrose Cobb and Susannah Bradley.

My gr-gr-gr grandfather's sister, Sarah Conley, Condley, (1815-1907) married Ambrose Jack Cobb (1817-1863), son of Robert Cobb, Sr. (1755-1823) and Catherine
