Hello to everyone on the World Family Treemaker. I am was born in Southwest VA in 1951 to Jennings and Pauline Green Plaster . I grew up in a small town named Raven, Va. My father was a coal miner for Jewell Ridge Coal Co. and my mother was a wonderful homemaker. I am the oldest of their two children. The other child being Jennings Michael Plaster. Unfortunately Michael was killed on May 9, 1974 and I am the last remaining descendant of the Henry Clinton Plaster lineage. My fathers two other brothers never had any children. The eldest of the three boys Parley Carlos Plaster was killed during World War II in France.
The families I am working on are The Charles Preston Green and Mary Frances Horton Green Robinette; the Henry Clinton Plaster and Mary Elizabeth McGlothlin Plaster. A very interesting note here is that my grandmother Mary Green's sister Martha, married my grandfather Henry Clinton Plaster's brother Charles Wesley. Plus my grandmother Green's brother Thomas Horton married my grandmother Mary Elizabeth McGlothlin Plaster's brother's daughter Pearl.
I was born into one of the closest family units that anyone could have. The closeness of these four or five family lineages has prepared me for all the challenges I have had to face in life. So I would like to say THANK YOU to each and everyone of you living and deceased. May blessings always be at the tip of your fingers. Blest Be Carol Lee
