OBIT: Emil Peter Farris, M.D. passed away June 12, 2001. Private graveside services were held June 13 at Fairlawn Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Carol, and their three children, Scott, Rebecca, and Steven. Other survivors include his sisters, Lorraine Solomon and Marquita Hilt, and his brothers, Bruce and William Farris. Dr. Farris earned the degree of Doctor of Medicine in 1950 from the University of Oklahoma. He faithfully served and healed countless patients over the years in his practice of ophthalmology, and was so proud to celebrate his 50th year reunion with his medical school classmates in 2000. Dr. Farris gave his utmost energy and gifts of unequalled devotion, loyalty and love to God, his family, his patients and others. He has earned his eternal peace and our everlasting love and respect.
