He married LOUISIANA CORDELIA HUITT September 19, 1869 in Caledonia, Missouri (maybe Cub Creek, Washington Co.), daughter of WILLIAM HUITT and ELIZABETH HENDERSON.

Cub Creek, Washington County, Missouri, is a stream located between Quaker and Courtois Post Offices. At one time the place was known as Adam. This was the William Huitt, Jinkerson home place bordering Cub Creek.
William Solomon Jinkerson was a licensed "preacher" in the Methodist Episcopal Church and his license was renewed Feb 4, 1895 at Belgrade, Missouri. William Jinkerson was also justice of peace from 1896 to 1901 and performed many weddings.

Lucy Huitt Jinkerson was grandmother of George Paul Farmer and Ruth Crawford. Paul (George Paul) remembers his grandmother as a large, very pleasant lady. Paul was 13 years old when she died. The family records are very sketchy. The dates of birth are for the most part taken from the 1850 census.
