Received a collegiate education. For several years after his marriage he reside at "Leith or HalfPone, the plantation which his father had bought after the death of its owner, Walter B.C. Worthington. THis farm as has been previously show, was once woned by Allen Bowie, Sr., and his son Fielder Bowie (Jack Bowies as he was called) removed form the Nottingham neighborhood to his old home "Cleveland," near "Forestville," PRince George's County, where he died Spetl 2,l874. His widow and youngerchildren later made their home in Washington. He is buried at the Episcopal Church in Forestville.
