I have recieved information on the "FATHERS" surname.

She has researched our heraldry and found that our surname is actually from the surname FEATHERSTONE or FETHERSTONE.
Our forefathers descended from Schleswig-Holstein in Germany. Our surname is derived from an Ancient Saxon Chief who settled on the Tyne of Northumberland during the 8th century and built Featherstone Castle.
