Notes for Elkanah Fawcett:
He ran a sawmill at Fawcett's Gap. One of his employees was his cousin, Sanford Baylis who was injured there and made permanently lame.
Baylis speaks of family records made by Elkanah and forwarded to Baylis by his grandson, Charles Julian Fawcett.
