1. PETER¹ CAMPBELL was born Abt. 1753 in Scotland, and died 1829 in Prince Edward Island, Canada. He married MARGARET DEWAR Abt. 1776 in Scotland. She was born 1761 in Scotland, and died Abt. 1799 in Scotland.

Notes for PETER CAMPBELL:
Peter brought his family from Scotland to Prince Edward Island in 1808. He bought his land from the King and settled on the south side of the Montague River (Lower Montague). He built a home out of the forest. He made his home into quarters for his sons at first and later settled them on farms.
