| While researching my Hungarian Heritage a Web-Site was created that combines the Genealogy search efforts with the family photo album. What began as an attempt to trace my parents roots and try to understand what it may have been for individuals to leave their families, homelands and travel to a new country proved to be a difficult challenge. My mother left Hungary as a twenty one year old while my father was 32 when he departed Viss, Hungary for the new land. As more and more information on my parents and relatives was uncovered the task became a labor of love. The highlight of this research was travelling abroad and visiting my parents birthplaces, walking the streets they may have and meeting many "new relatives" from my now extended family. I am proud to be an American but also proud of my Hungarian Heritage.
