The Frank J. Fazekas Home Page is dedicated to my many FAZEKAS and DUNCSAK relatives. What a joy it has been researching my family through America and Europe. Also visiting and meeting with my newly discovered extended family in 2003 and walking the streets that my parents did was such a thrill. Touring my father's one room school house, viewing the church pews that my grand-father carved around 1900 and having dinner with my Fazekas Family in their Viss, Hungary home was, well, very, very humbling. Meeting many of my Fazekas and Duncsak relatives for the 1st time in Europe was an awesome experience. Much of this success in researching my Family Tree is due to the cooperation of Fazekas Zsolt Sr. and Duncsak Oscar, both my cousins and very proud Hungarians. A special thanks to Zsolt for driving us around Hungary meeting relatives and delivering my wife and I to Slovakia. Oscar always had the time to assist me with research requests. Thanks guys! Genealogy can be such fun, rewarding and exhausting. The research continues on the Family Trees. Stay tuned. |
