Hi. I hope you find this page interesting and useful. I have been compiling this on and off for the last 5 years now and like most people I have found out some amazing things about my family and other far flung relatives whilst at the same time being equally frustrated at the inconsistencies in, and lack of in some cases, the information that you come across as you search records and family history.

My researches have surrounded the Featherstone tree on my fathers side, as well as the Cowlishaws and Carringtons on my mothers side who I believe originally hailed from Derbyshire and Norfolk respectively.
