The Fechters started out in Qunicy Ill. around 1850 my Great grand father,William David moved to Penelton Oregon and then to Corvalis Oregon where he married my Greatgrand mother Olive May Witham.Alfred Milton Witham my Greatgrand father moved to Corvalis Oregon via the Oregon Trail from Union County Indiana, in 1844-45.
