| I am researching the FIES/FEES family from Lebanon County, PA. Samuel FIES first appears in Old Salem Lutheran Church records after 1772, but I don't know where he was before that. He married Anna EBY in 1796 and they had several sons and daughters: Margarita, John David, Anna Maria, George, Samuel, Magdalena, Susanna, Johannes, and Jacob. Family legend has it that the FIES emmigrated from Germany in the 1750's and settled in what is now Tennessee. Samuel and his younger brother David moved to Lebanon, PA. It is believed that David moved westward into Ohio. Specifically, I'm trying to find any information about Samuel's parents and connect Samuel to FIES/FEES that moved west. Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have. |
