Find Family

* A QUALTROUGH CONNECTION*

Updated November 29, 2004

THIS HOME PAGE has been created to highlight my family history interest in the QUALTROUGH family world wide. However this site will be used, not for the world wide preservation of QUALTROUGH Family History ,which can be found at the main QUALTROUGH FAMILY website (see LINK below), but rather to give me an opportunity to expand on my own branch on a more personal level.

QUALTROUGHs have been my abiding genealogical interest for much of the past 25 years. I began researching my own branch back in 1976 when I was still living in New Zealand. My great-grandparents were William and Catherine Mary (LOVIE) QUALTROUGH, and I am descended from their third daughter Margaret. They had, in all, eight daughters.

This site will encompass the family history of the descendants of this couple. They appear on Chart 5 in a book, A QUOTA OF QUALTROUGHS - early settlers to New Zealand from the Isle of Man , which I published in 1984 in New Zealand. This has been put on line on the main QUALTROUGH family website. See LINK below.

I also plan to record my own life story here in text format, which I feel is an important part of any family historian's journey.

Additions and alterations are sought for the family trees which will appear here at this site. They can be sent to the contact address below.

Thank you

Elizabeth Feisst
