This photo (probably taken in the mid-1800s) depicts Joseph Alexander Gray, husband of Henrietta Smith Delano Gray. Family tradition said that Joseph (known as "Alexander") originally came from Croghan, County Roscommon, Ireland, although his birthplace is given as "NY" on the 1860 census.
