Larry Fenton Family Homepage

The Fentons and the Burbridges lived in the White Oak Community in Barry County, MO in the early 1900's. Both families had 8 children. The children all attended White Oak Elementary. While some, like Bert Fenton and Truie and Troy Burbridge were close in age and might have been considered best friends, all were acquaintances. Two of them, Dollie Burbridge and Bert Fenton grew up and married each other at the respective ages of 28 and 32. I am the second of their two sons.

The Burbridge family of Missouri has had a reunion every two years for the past 6 years. These get togethers have allowed us to become re-acquainted and in many cases, acquainted. While reconnecting with each other, we have also learned a lot about our family history. Although we've learned a lot there is still much to learn. This web site is dedicated to discovering and preserving the history of my two ancestral families.
