      5. Hudie Gregory, born November 13, 1872 in Al; died December 26, 1909 in Hill Co., TX. She was the daughter of 10. Edward Pinkney Gregory and 11. Edna Catherine (Edney) Martin.

  iii.   Erman G. McCullough, born August 07, 1892; died June 19, 1968; married Sallie Scott.
  Notes for Sallie Scott:
Sallie Scott McCullough died after being struck by lightning. We have copy of a telegram sent to members of the family when this occurred.

  iv.   Rachel McCullough, born July 17, 1894; died June 12, 1968; married John Bunyon Scott.
  v.   Benjamin Franklin McCullough Jr, born July 03, 1898; died Abt. 1950; married Lorene Ashcraft.
  vi.   Willie McCullough, born November 23, 1900; married Mark Clinton Woodruff.


      6. James Henry Emmons, born June 17, 1864 in Fairfield, Tx; died August 29, 1931 in Grand Saline, Tx. He was the son of 12. Andrew Jackson "Jack" Emmons and 13. Susannah C. Atkins. He married 7. Martha Melvina (Mattie) Davis January 28, 1891 in Freestone Co., Tx1.

      7. Martha Melvina (Mattie) Davis, born November 13, 1874 in Falls Co., Tx; died September 26, 1925 in Hubbard, Tx. She was the daughter of 14. William Alexander Davis and 15. Elizabeth Francis Smith.

  i.   Arrindell Wardsworth Emmons2, born June 18922; died 1964 in California2; married Josie.
  Notes for Arrindell Wardsworth Emmons:
Arrindell married three times. He had one daughter who died in infancy. He was an electrical engineer; also worked as a conductor on the interurban between Ft Worth and Dallas. He went to Spain and Brazil building cotton gins. He ran a grape vineyard in California where he died with heart problems and multiple strokes.

  ii.   Beatrice L. Emmons, born September 28, 1893; died October 02, 1963; married Eubertie Bailey September 24, 1911 in Hubbard, Tx.
  iii.   Murrell Durant Emmons2, born March 18952; died 1969 in Dallas, TX2; married Cora.
  Notes for Murrell Durant Emmons:
Murrell was a farmer, oilfield worker, building repair and general repairman. He died of cancer in Dallas.

  iv.   Leonodus Napolian Emmons2, born June 18962; died 1955 in Illinois2; married Lona.
  Notes for Leonodus Napolian Emmons:
Lee was a farmer, oil field worker, and heavy machinery operator for crop harvests. He died of heart problems in Illinois.

  v.   Orphus Anthony Emmons2, born February 04, 18992; died January 16, 1967 in Houston, TX2; married Artie Elenora Walker December 09, 1919 in Hubbard, Tx.
  Notes for Orphus Anthony Emmons:
Orphus was a farmer, oilfield worker, and shipyard worker. He died of a diabetic condition and heart problems in Houston.

  vii.   Ottie Cedric Emmons2, born 19042; died 1976 in Iowa Park, TX2; married Ola Lee Cooper January 22, 1928 in Holliday, TX.
  Notes for Ottie Cedric Emmons:
Ottie was a farmer, oil field worker, shipyard worker and motel operator. My memories of Ottie after marrying into the family are of a little man who loved to play the fiddle. He would join Olivette as she played the piano, Odell on the guitar and anyone else who happened to play. Notwithstanding his mild appearance, he killed a man with a gun in a disagreement in his younger days.

  ix.   Elell Andross Emmons6, born August 16, 19126; died July 13, 1945 in TN6; married Molena Jewell Richmond.
  Notes for Elell Andross Emmons:
Elel was an oil field worker, boiler maker and "jack of all trades". He died in a car wreck in Tennessee and is buried in Dallas.
