The Brede-Fest Families and Their Connections

We are searching the following families:Anderson, Beatty, Brede, Campbell, Cox, Croft, Gans, Halfpop, Hiatt, Lynn / Linn, Masters, Masterson, Mc Combs, Pietz, Pettibone, Schoonover, Schindler, Schmidt, Sharp, Shepherd / Shephard, Smith, Sumner....and othersA majority of our families settled in Appanoose County, Iowa around the mid 1850's coming from North Carolina, Ohio, and Indiana to name a few.Several other of the Germanic families made a strong presence in Wisconsin and the mid west.There are several researchers and compilers working on different surnames.
