Paul Fey ~ Born Jan.24, 1870 in Utweiler Bavaria, Germany & Died Dec.14, 1946 (at home) 7th. Ave. No., Nashville, TN. He made his living as a Harness Maker. On October 14, 1895, he married Elizabeth (known as Lizzie) Hemmer. She was born Apr.10,1877 in Wattensheid, Weisbach, Germany & Died August 5, 1958 in Nashville, TN. Paul & Lizzie ~ Buried: Calvary Cemetery ~ Nashville, TN.

Paul immigrated to the United States from the port of Antwerp, Belgium on the vessel "SS Noordland", at 14 years of age. He arrived at the port of New York, NY., on or about May 1, 1884. He signed his "Declaration of Intention" (No. 485) on Nov.11, 1918; at which time, he resided at 1219 Cephas Ave., Nashville, TN. (It is noted, on record, that Paul was white, dark complected, was 5' 9 1/2" tall, weighed 155 lbs., had gray hair, and his eyes were brown). He signed his "Petition for Naturalization" (Petition No. 479) on Oct.1, 1920; at which time he resided at 404 Plume Street, Nashville, TN. Paul took his "Oath of Allegiance" (Certificate No. 2270306) on Mar.15, 1926.

Elizabeth (Lizzie) Hemmer immigrated to the U. S. from the port of Antwerp, Belgium (she did not recall the name of the vessel). She arrived at the port of New York, NY., in the spring of 1888, at 11 years of age. She signed her "Petition for Naturalization" (Petition No. 842) on Jan.1, 1934, at which time she resided at Route 3, Dickson, TN. "Affidavits of Witnesses" were signed by: Birdie Lee (Carney) Fey, her daughter-in-law, a housewife, who resided at 1812 Cephas Ave. No., Nashville, TN., and Leonard Harry Wills, her son-in-law, a meter reader, who resided at 1418 2nd Ave. No., Nashville, TN. These documents were filed under the Act of 5/24/1939, on Aug.1, 1939 in Nashville, TN. Elizabeth took her "Oath Of Allegiance" on Nov.24, 1939; and, certification was issued Nov. 29, 1939 (Cerificate No. 4850015). These records are on file at the U. S. Dist. Court, Naturalization Ofc, 801 Broadway, Rm 800, Nashville, TN.

John Paul Fey ~ Born Oct.10, 1896 (at home) 1543 Tilden St., Nashville, TN & Died June 14, 1975 in Nashville, TN. He was a Steel Metal Worker. John married Bessie Thomas Nunley ~ Born May 17, 1902 in McMinnville, TN & Died Jan.15, 1975 in Nashville, TN. She was the daughter of Hood Carroll Nunley (a farmer) & Louise Gardner ~ natives of Warren Co., McMinnville, TN. John & Bessie ~ Buried: Calvary Cemetery ~ Nashville, TN.

Theresa Augusta Fey ~ Born Dec.31, 1897 (at home) 1543 Tilden St., in Nashville, TN & Died Aug.22, 1950 at the St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. Her first husband was Lawrence H. Uhles ~ Born Abt. 1895, in AR & Died Abt. 1928, possibly in AR or OK. Lawrence was the son of Robert A. Uhles of AR & Eliza Adelle Roberts of Wayne Co., Clifton, TN. Theresa's second husband was Leonard Harry Wills ~ Born Nov.20, 1889, in Nashville, TN & Died June 10, 1957, in Nashville, TN. Theresa & Leonard ~ Buried: Calvary Cemetery ~ Nashville, TN.

Herbert Bernard Fey, Sr. ~ Born Nov.14, 1900 (at home) 1513 Tilden St., in Nashville, TN & Died Jan.7, 1969 in Joelton TN. He was a Market Man. On August 18, 1923, he married Birdie Lee Carney ~ Born May 26, 1905 in Nashville, TN & Died Mar.13, 1998 at a nursing home in Hendersoville, TN., with her son, Jerry Vincent Fey, Sr. & her granddaughter, Aline Marie Fey by her side. Birdie was the daughter of William Vincent Carney & Hadie Katie Holt ~ Natives of Nashville, TN. William & Katie married on Sept.5, 1903, in Nashville, TN. Herbert & Birdie ~ Buried: St. Lawrence Cemetery ~ Joelton, TN.

Herman Joseph Fey ~ Born Jan.8, 1903 (at home) 1529 Tilden St., in Nashville, TN & Died June 7, 1986 in Indianapolis, IN. He was a Medal Polisher. He married Lillian Margueritte Strube ~ Born Nov. 22, 1903 & Died June 12, 1986. Herman & Lillian ~ Buried: St. Joseph Cemetery ~ Indianapolis, IN.
