Welcome to our homepage. Our family is an American / English combination. On the American side the family has spent much of it's recent history in Reading, Pennsylvania. The american names we are researching are Field, Leinbach, Levan, Halderman,Meade, Mowrey, Kaufmann, Wenrich, Knoll and Glasmire among many others. The Fields we know back to William from Heidelberg Twp Pa. The Leinbachs we know the original settlers and have linked them to Charles D Leinbach b 1876 thanks to the many Leinbach pages. The Levans are tracked back to Holland thanks to help from other web pages. We have Daniel Halderman b 1786 married to Harriet Davis but no info linking him to the many Haldermans in Chester Co. Pa. Have little on the other names.Looking for links to Willam Field from Heidelberg Pa, step son of Carl Schucker.Recently found William to be the son of Wilhelm Fil (fiehl).
On the English side the family history is mainly in Liverpool. We are researching two names the McGuinness's and the Ventre's. The McGuinness's settled in Liverpool from Ireland in the 19th century though little is known. Great grandfather is Roger Edward Mc Guinness. Great,Great Grandfather is Thomas born abt 1824. On the Ventre side the family came to Liverpool from Italy. A small village called Picinisco. The name is originally thought to be French. Have recently added some Picinisco records which show that Giacomo Ventre was our ancestor. Have found older data showing Mariano Ventre coming to Picinisco from San Donato, Italy .Most of the information for the Ventre's has been provided by my cousin Christine Ventre, Richard Ventre and Tony Crowney. Thanks also to Ted Judge,Tony Masterson and Frank Fitzsimmons for other Ventre info.

If you are interested in any of the names we can send you a copy of our tree as a GEDCOM file or can hard copy it. Likewise if you have any information you think we could use let us know.

Good Hunting.
