Researching William Guenther and his wife Maria who came to the United States with their three children, William Jr., Christian, and John (Johann) October 10, 1872. The ship's name was Cimbria, and left from Hamburg and Havre, Germany. He arrived in New York on October 10, 1872. According to the passenger list, there was also a 16 year old child named Carl, a female named Wilhe (18 years old), and an 11 month old male infant named Friedr. (perhaps Frederick) Unable to determine if the last three children belonged to William and his wife Maria. Christian John Guenther married Sophia, Niles Twp,Skokie, IL and had ten children, Arthur, Alma, Willaim Louise, Harry, Otto, Anne, Sophia, Clara, Emil (my father), Fredia, Dorothy, Mamie.
Also researching Hiram Gilmore Yohe, descendant of Michael Yohe of Baden Germany,born in 1747.
Also researching John Harrison Porter, b 1846 in Canada, and who married Anna Nevins in Jackson Michigan. Anna was born 1847 in Ireland..
Also researching Stephen Green Fields born 1878 in Clay Co KY,(son of Joseph E.Fields b.1852, and Mary Polly Hignite Gabbard, and grandson of Jeremiah Fields b.1826, and Elizabeth Eversole), Stephen married Dora Belle McQueen born 1880 in Jackson Co KY.She was dtr of John McQueen, and gr dtr of Beatty McQueen born 1825.
