About Our Family Research

Where does one "normally" start??? When it comes to genealogy, it's definetely not the beginning!!

When I started this "endless" but "satisfying" project, of searching my family roots, I had no idea how complex the root structure really was. This has been an on again/off again project for many years. Now with a lot of help from my father and step mother, information that my sister collected many years ago, the intensive work of Peter Chandler, and "The Family Tree Maker" program, I've managed to set up the family tree.

The "end" now established, leads me now towards the beginning(I hope)!!

Hopefully with this web page set up, I will be able to fill in a lot of the blanks that I've already encountered.

Any information that can be provided to help me with this project would be greatly appreciated.

Other trees associated to our family include:
"Locke","Lock","Pittard","Wing","Harwood","Hole", "Winstanley","Stacey","Orchard", "Hill", "Hardy" in the UK,
and "Herget","Balsor","Fredericks", and "Landry" in Nova Scotia, Canada

Many Thanks and Cheers
CJ
