| James Field left Virginia and settled in Scioto Co. Ohio, circo 1820. He had a large family, but there is a confusion whether the Thomas Fields, who is my husband's gggrandfather, who bought land in the same area is his son or not. All the Field and Fields were located in the same two adjacent townships in Scioto County Ohio. It would seem logical to assume that they are of the same family, but I would like to be able to document this. If any one, either by knowing of the family or experiencing this problem, can help me, I would appreciate it. |
