Notes for Daniel* Field:
On 12 May 1708, Daniel Field turned over land to Henry and John Wheeler which their father, Edward Wheeler, had left them in his will. Edward Wheeler was thesecond husband of Mary Alday. The two Wheelers brothers must have reached majority, thus giving them the full right to the land. (Stafford County, Virginia, Deed and Will Book for 1699-1709, pg 414.)

A Daniel Field is listed as paying property taxes on a piece of property near Licking Run and N. Marsh Run in 1722. We believe it is this Daniel.

Daniel's will was proved 28 March 1733, Westmoreland County. It lists Margaret Gerviss, Mary and Alice Beckwith, his wife Mary and Daniel Hutson. Margaret, Maryand and Alice may have been daughters.

Daniel bought land with his brother Capt. Henry Sr, in Culpeper County.
