The Joseph Fiery - Jacob Roessner Family Home Page

I am searching for my relatives and would appreciate any information. I am just beginning my search but I know the following:
1. FIERY or FIREY - mostly from Hagerstown (Washington County), Maryland, but also in Virginia, West Virginia, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Joseph Fiery immigrated from Germany before 1778, fought in the Maryland Militia during the Revolutionary War, married MARY DEMER, and raised 7 children.

2. ROESSNER - JACOB R. ROESSNER immigrated from Germany through the port of Baltimore, Maryland, in May 1854, with mother and at least 1 sister. Learned trade of confectioner and worked in Fredricksburg, Virginia, before settling in Hagerstown, Maryland, marrying CATHERINE CUNNINGHAM (b.9/11/1862, 4th child of THOMAS CUNNINGHAM and MARY BOWARD)and raising a family of nine children.


Any and all information will be greatly appreciated and I will share anything that I learn.
