I am researching the family of Sam Rogers and Sarah Kirkland. I would like to find out if they had other children besides my great-grandfather James William Rogers, born September, 17, 1866, BrysonCity,NC, Swain County. He married Laura Mae Bowers October 22, 1886 in Swain County, NC. She was the daughter of R. J. and Pollie Bowers. Laura Maes mother was a full Cherokee according to the information my grandfather gave me. I would greatly appreciate any information or help on getting this family. All of the family is now deceased.
