The John Stuart Fields Family Home Page

Updated December 20, 2011

Looking for all branches of my family. The following came from the West Riding area of Yorkshire, England - specifically Flockton and Thornhill areas from the early 1700's (maybe before ?) until at least the mid 1800's: Field, Hampshire, Cass and Milnes. I'm also looking for Crothers from Belfast, Ireland prior to 1910 (maybe some still there today?) and Heckeroth or Heckerott from Germany until about the mid 1800's. All of these came to the United States between 1840 to about 1910.

Check out my tree and see if you have any matches. If so, please feel free to e-mail me. Most of the data since coming to the United States is fairly well documented, prior to that, some of it's a little "fuzzy".

Thanks and good luck in your own research!!
John Fields (added 's' to end of name when they came to the U.S. around 1850)
