* The Myron Coloney (Colony) Home Page*

Updated September 5, 2000

I am attempting to trace my lineage through my mother's side of my family back to Admiral Gaspard Coligny, the leader of the French Huguenots who was killed in the religious turmoil in 16th Century France. My mother's maiden name was Dorothy Tuttle Colony, an Anglicized version of the Coligny name. Her parents were Roy J. Colony and Lulu Hoffman Colony. They lived in Bronxville, New York at the time of their deaths. He taught geology at Columbia University, and she was a public school teacher. I also had an aunt and an uncle on my mother's side. They were Myron and Ruth Colony. Myron was named after my great grandfather, Myron Coloney. Please contact me if you have any leads on these relatives. I will be happy to share with you any information that I manage to dig up.
