All of my research is in England and I'm researching my own family as well as my husbands. I am joined in this by my daughter Karen who is also researching her husbands Australian/English roots. Because I live quite a distance from Family History Centres or groups, I rely very much on the internet. The recent sale by the LDS of the 1881, 1851 UK census, & the British Vital Records has proved an absolute boon. Right now I am researching the following:-

Henry HYATT b: 1822 married Catherine RUTTER (may have been born abt1848 Hackney). The 1871 census shows that they had 6 children at that time including my g.g.grandfather Thomas b:1855 Bethnal Green d:1918 Hackney LDN. His son, Thomas b:1879 d:1918 when the hospital ship Glenart Castle was torpedoed as it left Newport bound for France, married Lydia CARR St Thomas Church Hackney 26 Jun 1902. Lydia was born Oct 1880 Edmonton MIDDX & died Jul 1942 Dagenham ESS. They had 10 children one of whom was my mother Ellen CLIMPSON nee HYATT. Catherine RUTTER died 1872 and Henry HYATT remarried. The 1881 UK census shows him married to Sarah b:1831/32 Pitminster SOM. CARR John, b: abt 1825, Bircham NFK & wife Ann nee MURRAY b: abt: 1822, Douglas, I.O.M. CARR Samuel James Richard b:1856 Ealing MIDDX d:1937 Hackney LDN married, on the 15 Nov 1874 Christ's Church Southwark LDN, Caroline WINGATE, b:1856 Saffron Hill Holburn MIDDX d:1937 Hackney LDN, and were the parents of Lydia CARR (my grandmother). Other Children were:- Joseph, Thomas, Frederick, Caroline, Mary Ann, Helen, Harriet, Hilda & Louise. CLIMPSON Henry (Harry) Walter b: 1860 Marylebone LDN d: 1922 Hackney MDDX and Jane Emily PELLS(wife or de facto of Henry CLIMPSON) b:1870 Bermondsey MIDDX d:1934 Hackney LDN were the parents of Arthur Leonard CLIMPSON husband of Ellen nee HYATT (my parents).

Over the years we have concentrated mainly on the FIELD family, particularly Thomas & Emma & we have now collected quite a lot of information on this family including the families of their son William FIELD & his 13 children, & their youngest daughter Caroline Ann FULWELL nee FIELD. We have also collected quite a lot on Harry Walter CLIMPSON, Jane Emily PELLS, William BISBEY, Samuel James Richard CARR & the family of his wife Caroline nee WINGATE. We are quite happy to share any of this information to those who may be interested.
