I am researching the Fifields of what is now known as the New-Wes-Valley area of Bonavista Bay (North)Newfoundland. The first Fifield to come to this area came from the Town of Bonavista and was called Thomas Fifield. He married a Frances Norris and settled on an island known as Swains Island. |
