My dad, Roy Walter Hamblin, celebrated his birthday as November 10, 1913. The newspaper in Falls City, Nebraska, where he was born, has his birth as November 10, 1914. He died in Prosser, WA and had funeral services there. He also had funeral services in Kearney, NE where he lived a good share of his adult life. He is buried in a "Straatmann" family cemetery outside of Hildreth, NE. He is buried in the West Salem Cemetery. His original death certificate said he was buried in Kearney, NE. That has been corrected to West Salem.

His dad was Miles P Hamblin. My grandpa always said he was raised, and, and indeed he was. His mother died a short time after he was born and Miles was passed around to relatives until he was raised. It is believed he came from Iowa. I would like to know anything that would help me find out about Miles Hamblin.
