ALBERT TRUDELL FINNERTY FAMILY HOME PAGEUpdated January 20, 2008 |
The geneaology areas of interest include the following surnames. Finnerty - My primary interest is to trace the Finnerty family back to Ireland. The Related Link "Descendents of Patrick and Mary Logan" gives an early history of the family. Patrick and Mary came to the United States in 1846 settling first in Gardner, Maine. They left and emigrated to Madison, Indiana where Patrick had three brothers. They may have been Thomas, Timmothy and unknown. Patrick and Mary with their three children John, Patrick and Mary finally settled in Keokuk Iowa. I have not been able to trace the three brothers living in Madison, Indiana they may have settled in Indiana or Kentucky. The last record I have of Thomas is the 1850 census in Gardner Maine. Trudell - I have been successful in tracing this line back to Jaun Trudelle who founded the family in Quebec in 1646. I am interested in tracing the family in France. Maryott - This is my mother's, Ruth Maryott's, family. Her father was George Cameron Maryott, He married Anna Gavin in Bancroft Nebraska. He raised his family in Decater, Pender and Macy Nebraska. His father was Alfred Libeus Maryott. He married Jennie Christine Cameron in Hustsford, Wisconsin. The family originally came from Rhode Island and then to Brookfield, Madison County New York. Cameron - The Cameron family emigrated from Scotland settling in Chatham, Quebec, Canada about 1830's. Jennie Christine Cameron is the daughter of Alan Cameron and Anna Robertson who both emigrated from Gleneig, Invernesshire, Scotland. Other areas of interest include: Keith, Gavin, Calnon and Robertson families. |
