The purpose of this report is to record the genealogies of individuals linked to the FINK, BLANKENSHIP, COOPER, GADD, LILLY, MEADOR, MEADOW, AND MEADOWS families in Colonial Virginia, ante-bellum Virginia, modern Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

These families have their roots in England, France, Germany, and Sweden and include such ancestors as the Rev. Josiah Meador-Meadow, a soldier in the American Revolutionary War who was also a Christian gospel minister; Nancy Roach, who was of Shawnee Indian descent; Valentine Fink, a Confederate States of America veteran from Pulaski County, Virgina; and Valentine's brother Samuel, a Union veteran from Wisconsin.
