BERAN, FILIP, FINNIGAN, MIKA GENEALOGY

Updated March 3, 2014

SO MANY FAMILIES AND SO LITTLE TIME!!!!!!!!

BERAN - My Beran's came from Bohemia and as of now I have not pinpointed exactly where in Bohemia they came from. My Beran's came over about 1875 and settled in the St. Louis, MO area. Other names in this tree are Filip, Matejka, Suda, Vanek, Bromier, Valenta, Rogers, Sedivy, etc.

FINNIGAN - Our Finnigan's came over around 1847 from County Cavan in the townland of Drumcullion, Ireland to Illinois and then to Missouri. Other names in our tree are: Ross, Reilly, Connolly, etc. On the 1841 Ireland census in the townland mentioned above there are other Finnigan families. If you are one of them I would love to hear from you.

MIKA - My Mika's came over from Bohemia or what was then known as Austria-Hungary. I do not know exactly where in Bohemia they came from but I suspect it is from around Prague. They came over in the late 1880's and settled in the St. Louis, MO area. They attended St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church. Other names in this tree are: Filip(Philip) Svehla, Franceta, Vanek, Valenta, Sedivy, Sedenka, Ster, etc.
