I am trying to find out something about my Mother's father. His name was Edward Theodore Olderwurtel (or Oldewurtel). He disappeared when my Mother was a little girl. He was born in 1881 in the USA. His occupation was Waiter. My Mother's Mother was Emma Otillia Scheifer (Sheifer or Schiefer). Not quite sure of the spelling. Have seen it spelled differently on different papers. I don't know much about her either. I believe she was born in Konitz Germany, January 28, 1882 and came to this country with her sister Margaret, when they were young ladies.

Any help anyone could give me, would be greatly appreciated.
