My husband Dennis and I would like to exchange information about the following families: Gore, Allen, Atwell, Records, Fine, Bobbitt, Pugh, Hughes, Paul, Cole and Cox. We have done some research and would very much like to hear from others who may be related to our families. My families: the Gore,Allen, Atwell, Record, Bobbitt, and Pughs all started in Virginia, then some went to Kentucky, then Iowa. The others started in WV and went to Missouri. They all eventually made it to Oklahoma for the Cherokee Land Run or shortly after. My husband's Family Fine started in Virginia, then to Tennessee and on to Oklahoma into Indian Territory close to what is now Ardmore, Ok now.Please let me know if you have any information that will help us in any way. I will be happy to share information with anyone. We have not been able to complete some areas and hope someone can help us.
